How much is a piercing?

Our piercing prices range based on the jewelry you select. We have the area’s largest selection of high quality jewelry options for you to choose from, all of which vary in price. In order to accurately price, we invite you to visit our studio. Our extensively trained staff will be delighted to assist you in selecting the perfect piece of jewelry for your style, budget, and anatomy!

How old do you need to be for piercings?

You must be 18 years of age or older to get a piercing without parental consent. Anyone under the age of 18 must have parental/legal guardian consent. Parents/legal guardians must be present with proper supporting documentation to complete the piercing release form in the studio. We DO NOT perform intimate piercings or surface piercings of any kind on anyone under the age of 18. If you have any questions about this policy, please give us a call.

Do I need an appointment?

We highly recommend appointments for piercings. We ask our clients to schedule appointments for piercings such as children’s lobes, intimate piercings, or complex ear projects. Although we primarily work from scheduled appointments, we do take walk-in’s on a first-come-first-serve basis between scheduled piercings. Appointments will be prioritized since those clients have booked in advance with us, but we will do our best to fit you into our schedule if we can, otherwise we can assist in scheduling you for another day. Please plan your visit accordingly and arrive at least 30 minutes prior to closing so we can best assist you through our piercing process.

What should I tip?

Tipping varies from person to person and is similar to any other service provided industry, such as a tipping wait staff at a restaurant. Most clients tip, on average, about 20% of the sale. Cash tips are preferred but we also have an option to add a card tip with your transaction. Tips are split between the piercer and the counter staff that assists you with your jewelry selection. Although tips are not required they are most certainly appreciated as an indication of how well we are doing with our services.

Does the Daith piercing really cure migraines?

There is no scientific proof or research supporting the daith piercing as pain treatment. While some people with migraines say they have experienced relief from their symptoms after getting a daith piercing, the only evidence that supports this is purely anecdotal, and there is no research that supports that theory. Although it has not been proven for migraine relief, we love the aesthetic of daith piercings. They are gorgeous when properly placed and have some of the most striking jewelry on the market. In the end we can provide you with a wonderfully placed daith piercing accommodating some beautiful jewelry.

do i really need an appointment to shop for jewelry?

Yes, we highly recommend scheduling an appointment for any services we offer including jewelry shopping appointments. The reason behind this is to ensure that we give you our full attention while we work with you. Our studio is generally busy which means that we can’t always cater to walk-in clientele. During your appointment timeframe, we can ensure that you will be able to get the assistance you need from jewelry selection, an explanation of how our jewelry works if you are unfamiliar with our jewelry, sizing/style recommendations, and jewelry installation if you would like assistance.

Can I go swimming after getting pierced?

Yes and no. If you have any plans to submerge your piercing in a body of water, whether it’s a chlorinated pool or a lake/river, we suggest that you wait to get any piercings until you have at least a 3 month period where you don’t plan to swim. In one environment, you have a harsh chemical invading a fresh or healing puncture wound whereas in another environment you have bacteria entering that same piercing channel. Both of these things can cause complications in healing your new piercing. When in doubt, speak to your piercer if you have plans to swim before getting a new piercing!

can i use topical numbing agents?

No, we do not advise using topical numbing agents and we won't perform a piercing with a topical on the piercing area. Not only is there a possibility that you could have a reaction to the numbing agent used, but they also distort the tissue and can cause increased complications. Due to this, we can’t guarantee our piercings nor can we perform to the best of our ability to ensure a straight, quality piercing.
